At Waka Ama tournament, we had a great result from singles paddler, Quin Fenwick, on day 1, placing 3rd in his 250m Sprint B Final/Te Takere! 
Both our Girls U16 and Boys U19 W6-crews competed in 250m sprints, and 500m turns.
The boys squad finished strong in their 250m heat, progressing them to semi’s, but it’s all about the start, and they didn’t get the best start in that semi, but they didn’t finish last! They made special mention of that! 
Each team made semi-finals for the 500m race, however, time penalties bumped them out of finals contention, ultimately finishing our campaign at the 2024 Waka Ama Secondary Schools Nationals 
The girls squad, especially, are keen to start training for next season, with their eyes on that A final!
