We had an incredible day at the Trident Invitational Tournament here in Whakatāne.
Our Senior Boys played well, finishing 2nd in our pool, setting us up for a 3rd place playoff against the 2023 National “A” Championship winners, TKKM o Ruamatā.
We drew the short straw, having to play back-to-back games, but the lads dug deep and closed the margin to finish in an honourable 4th place!
Absolutely stoked at their efforts in this campaign! Coach Kathleen Whiripo was very inspirational for the lads, and is also proud of their efforts!
