Careers Expo – Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th May As part of the Career’s Education Curriculum Year 10s and senior students will attend the Expo, which is on at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre. This FREE 2 day Expo is a fantastic opportunity for students to talk directly with leading businesses, education, training and community providers to find out what exciting career and business opportunities are available.
Our students will attend on the Monday: Year 10s during Period 2, Year 11s during Period 3, Year 12s during Period 4, Year 13s during lunchtime & Period 5. And on Monday 10th May the Expo is open for a later session, until 6pm, so it’s recommended families take this opportunity to attend with their children.

Dunedin Tertiary Open Days are fast approaching, and there is two action packed days for you to experience all that is on offer at both the University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic Campuses.

Head online to the Open Days webpage where you can find out about all the presentations, lectures, campus and accommodation tours, information sessions and more that are happening on both campuses on Sunday 23 and Monday 24 May.

In April the NZ Army in Burnham will be hosting a Defence Careers Experience for 50 16 – 21 year old females, to give them a chance to see what a career in the Army could look like across a number of different trades and roles. 

Participants will spend three days in Burnham Military Camp, Christchurch and get some exposure to some of the Army’s trades and other benefits available within uniformed service. Travel, accommodation and meals will all be covered by the NZDF.

Candidates will only need to take their clothing and living essentials for the three days. The DCE will take place during the school holidays 28 – 30 April. With applications closing on the 19th March.
