What an awesome turnout in PINK we had on Friday for PINK SHIRT DAY!
Despite the rain, students and staff donned their pink gear and embraced the theme for this year:
Be an Everyday Upstander. This is all about standing up against bullying, calling it out, and in doing so, demonstrating kindness, tolerance, respect, and inclusion for all. The Atawhai Committee led by Roisin Stunnell set up a great PSD stall at the student counter with information and competitions.
Students were generous in their donations, and over $540 was raised for the NZ Mental Health Foundation. A fantastic effort!
