Congratulations to our JPC team who won the 2024 Chanel Shield. An amazing weekend with debating, drama, poetry, bible readings and speeches. Many thanks to Mrs Karen Bloomfield for organising an amazing event and to Mrs Gabrielle Thurston for her hard work in mentoring and preparation with the students, Mr Stephen Bloomfield, Mrs Candice Stevenson, Principal Justin Harper and all the staff for all their hard work. A special thank you to Mr Brendan Davis and Sharon Handley for the wonderful catering, and to all our student helpers who were involved in the Pōwhiri, prepped and served fabulous food, helped with escorting and announcing. A huge THANK YOU to our wider JPC whanau for all your manaakitanga, billeting the students from the visiting schools. It was a privilege to host performing arts students from Aquinas, Campion, Sacred Heart and St John’s College’s. Wonderful students representing their school’s beautifully.
