Nominations are open for the election of six parent representatives to the John Paul College
School Board. Eligible voters will have received a call for nominations via the email address
we have on file. Nominations and voting will be electronic this year. If you would prefer to cast
a postal vote, please let the returning officer know.
You must be on the school electoral roll to nominate yourself or be nominated by someone on
the school electoral roll. The electoral roll is held at the school and can be viewed during
normal school hours or you may check your details with the returning officer via email.
Nominations close at noon on Wednesday 6 th August 2025. You may provide a signed
candidate statement and photograph with your nomination. As nominations are received,
there will be a list of candidates names kept at the school up until election day, which you can
view.
Voting will open on Wednesday 13 th August and close at 4pm on Wednesday 10 th September
2025.
If you are interested in finding out more about becoming a parent representative on the Board
there will be an information evening on Monday 28 th July at 5.00pm in the College staff room.
After this you are welcome to attend the open board section of the meeting at 5.30pm.
