Ngā mihi o te pō whānau mā
It was a beautiful day in the middle of the Whakarewarewa Forest for Downhill Race Day in the North Island Secondary Schools (NISS) Mountain Biking (MTB) Championships.
We started with 13 riders, but a head knock in the warm-ups deemed one rider unable to ride any longer, so 
12 riders competed in the Downhill event.
A lot of our riders placed WELL in their seed run, each seeding pretty high, but it all came down to that ONE race… And these are the results of those who placed and recognition of all our competitors.
