Ma te Pono, me te Aroha – Through Faith and Love.
John Paul College Rotorua is a distinctly Catholic Year 7 to 13 school of excellence. Here we strive to send young minds into the world with more than just a terrific academic grounding. We aim to have our graduating students’ conscious of their responsibilities and obligations towards themselves and others in the community.
At John Paul College, we believe that we offer an excellent values-based education that sets us apart from other schools. We actively encourage our students to test their limits, take on challenges, and make the most of their time at high school. Students at John Paul College are expected to work diligently in an environment commanding a high standard of behaviour both within and outside the classroom.
John Paul College builds upon a long and proud tradition of Lasallian Catholic secondary schooling in our region. Established as a co-educational high school in 1987 through the amalgamation of MacKillop and Edmund Rice College’s. John Paul College has a hard earned reputation as one of New Zealand’s top secondary schools.
God bless,
